Over the past few years a new service option has become available to college students with minimal items. Often referred to as "summer shipping" or "ship to school", this service provides students with boxes specifically for items that will not be needed during the summer. The boxes are shipped directly to your college and packed by the student, at the end of the semester the boxes can either be shipped using pre-paid labels or picked up and stored by a local moving company. When you return to college in the fall the boxes are either shipped back to your new address or delivered by the moving company.
