Minimums
There is a three hour minimum for all moving labor reservations. Any time over three hours is billed at the additional hourly rate and to the nearest quarter hour. The additional hourly rate is per crew, not per man.
NOTE: We have recently released a special 2-Hour Minimum Program for customers who need minimal moving help. This program is only available for unload service. Please view the special program details for rates and qualifications.
Travel Charges
Elite Moving Labor does everything in our power to avoid travel fees. Currently we only charge travel fees to extreme outlying areas. The general rule of thumb is if you are within 25 miles of a large city you will not be subject to a travel fee.
Equipment
All of our crews are required to carry one hand truck, one 4-wheel dolly and standard tools. Other tools and moving equipment is available but may be at an additional cost. We are the only moving labor company that provides standard moving equipment, free!
Other Charges
Unlike our competitors, Elite Moving Labor has no additional fees for long carries, stairs, elevators or moves that take place on the weekend. The rates listed above are the actual prices, no fine print and no hidden charges.
1-Man Crew Notes(*)
A one man crew is meant to supplement other capable movers or friends and family. An order for a one man mover should only be placed when there are minimal two man items (eg. heavy furniture) and is not intended to be a cheaper solution for completing a move.
