Moving Labor Quote

• Customers are only responsible for the minimum charge quoted, this is normally three hours. If your quote included additional hours this is merely our estimated completion time based on historic trends and the information you provided. You are not responsible for any hours after the minimum unless you decide to purchase them.
• Additional hours are prorated to the nearest quarter hour.
• A 2-Man Crew can only be scheduled if you do not have any items that exceed 250lbs. If you have items over 250lbs such as pianos, pool tables, gun safes or large appliances we require a 3-4 Man Crew.
• The deposit amount is listed as a separate line item because it is due at the time of reservation. The remaining amount is due when the move is completed by your preferred payment method.
• Prices quoted include all taxes, fees and related charges. There are no additional fees for stairs, elevators, long carries or weekend moves.

Truck Rental Quotes

• Truck Rental: Prices quoted are provided by either Penske Truck Rental or Budget Truck Rental using our partner discounts. Similar to airfare, prices may change based on their reservation systems and the quantity of trucks available. To book your rental truck use the partner links available here.
• Taxes and Insurance: Quotes are based solely on the reservation system. Penske provides this information in the quoting process and is expected to be accurate however Budget Truck does not. Their insurance and tax rates are estimated and may change at the time of pickup. We recommend speaking directly with Budget Truck customer service regarding these rates.
• Furniture Pads: Quoted based on the pricing per dozen offered by the company. Padding is not required but recommended for a successful move.
• Fuel: Estimated fuel consumption and the price per gallon is estimated by the truck rental brand, size of the truck, fuel type, travel route and current economic indicators. We work hard to provide you with an approximation of your fuel consumption and associated costs, however your actual cost will likely be different.

Movex Quotes

• Freight Quote: Based on your submissions we generated a quote through our partner integration for the estimated quantity of linear feet required. Your quote will have two price options, the first is for your estimated space and the second is for a slightly larger amount of space. Pricing is based on numerous factors, notably your anticipated move date, amount of space required and zip codes. If any of these factors change the price will likely change as well.
• Pricing: Pricing provided by Movex includes the space indicated and all applicable transportation costs to your destination. It also includes furniture pads, taxes and fuel. Movex quotes do not include the cost of moving labor or packing supplies, these items (if requested) are outlined on your quote separately.
• Delivery Dates: Each quote will receive a range of delivery dates, customers will need to be available to take delivery on all of the dates. A more approximate delivery date will be provided once a specific truck has been assigned to your order.
• Truck Access: Movex uses 53' tractor trailers for all of their shipments. To avoid shuttling or extremely long walks to/from the truck we recommend making sure that a tractor trailer can make it onto your street or within your complex.
• Additional Space & Minimums: Movex requires a minimum of 6' be purchased and does not refund customers for unused space. It is recommended that you review the Movex sizing chart or contact us for a cube sheet to help accurately determine the amount of space you will need. If additional space is required on the move date it may be purchased assuming the truck has the space available. This is not guaranteed and customers should not rely on this as an option.
• Automobile Shipping: You may ship an automobile inside of the Movex trailer for the price quoted. If you did not request an auto quote but would like to add one to your initial quote please contact us and indicate your Movex Quote number.
